PS Given that I’m already a CCT member, from your angle what’s the best way to obtain a copy of your book? Thanks Paul

Your guided journey through this insanely rich painting has been an epic adventure. Can’t thank you enough for the amount of art history I’ve been learning from you this year Dr. Stemp! It’s been a silver lining or actually ore of a Gold halo to lockdown. -lexie (brooklyn, ny)

Dear Dr Stemp,
Thank you so much for your daily mails during Lent; every day a picture & story to solve the painting-puzzle. It must have been so much work for you.
Happy Easter weekend. I guess there is no more sun coming through your window any more this weekend but still, I hope it will be a pleasant weekend and thanks again.

Richard thank you so much for this and the thought and energy that you have put into it. It has been hugely enjoyable and informative. I feel you have raised the profile of this painting so much that it really must go on display when the gallery reopens.

Thank you, Adam. To be honest, until last year this painting was always on view. As far as I know, it has only been taken down because, when the gallery was reopened between lockdowns, the paintings had to be socially distanced, so that the people looking at them could be, too. This meant that every room had to be re-hung, and several paintings taken away for a while. As things recover, the paintings will gradually be returned.
